Bastard Air
Bastard Air
The Air version of the Bastard model features a semi-hollow body—meaning it is largely hollow, causing the instrument to resonate differently than its solid body counterpart. The guitar’s weight is also reduced. The Bastard Air is equipped with 22 extra-hard frets, and the body-neck joint is designed for increased playing comfort in higher positions. The top of the showcased specimen is made of solid spruce wood, which is hot-formed. The Air model is a modern instrument, complemented by the acoustic properties of traditional materials with a wide selection of hardware and electronics—as with all our instruments, it is crafted by hand for individual orders. Several neck profiles are available, ranging from traditional D, C, or V to modern, asymmetrical shapes.
